Our Budding Ballerina

Last night was Paige's first ballet class!  She has been patiently waiting for about a month, and the day finally arrived.  She held her ballet slippers all the way into the studio, and waited patiently as the class before finished.  News to me...Moms don't get to stay in the class, gulp.  She can be shy, so I was bracing myself for the worst (cryfest), but she could have cared less that I wasn't there.  I only got a couple photos, and a short video.

 HERE is a video of the last few minutes of class.   Paige is the one on the left in front of the mirror hanging on the ballet bar.  At first I thought she was all alone, but then I realized that half of the class has to wait for wands, so this is where she chose to wait. Once she gets it she turns into a bullet!

Looking Back & a New Year

Every January 6th, we remember the day C&P were sprung from the NICU!  We had a rough start, but obviously it is minimal to the roller coasters that some families face in the NICU, which is why we support the March of Dimes and their fight against prematurity. 

We rung in the new year with our favorite red-headed twins, and in our PJs!

 

New Year's Day was celebrated cheering on our beloved Huskies in the Orange Bowl (HOLY AWESOME)! We didn't come out ahead, but we couldn't be more proud of our Alma Mater!

It's Pat!

Our elf, Pat, was sent by Santa at the beginning of the month.  Since then he has been watching who has been naughty and who has been nice, and let me tell you, he has been busy!  Here's some of the shenanigans he has been up to (in photos, because that's how I function).
