Time to Play

Last weekend we took C&P to the Glenview Children's Museum. They LOVE this place! We are quite fond of this place, and will be getting C&P a year-long membership to the museum for their birthday...SSSSSH, don't tell them!

Thirteen Thoughts for Thursday

1. I must find willpower while Christmas shopping for C&P...I want to buy everything!

2. I am completly ignoring the fact that I am having Thanksgiving at my house and Mickey party planning instead. Priorities.

3. So, Paige has not climbed out of her crib (yet), but her best friend Avery & future husband Parker have...EEEEK!! Those red-head twins are trouble!

4. I broke down (I think that's the correct phrase) and got C&P flu shots. I was a little anti being that they had the flu twice last year, and once Paige thought the ER would be a nice road trip at 11 o'clock at night (still agonizing over the $500 bill)! After a trip to the Children's Museum Sunday, I figured I could not hide them from germs all winter.

5. I will freak out if they get the flu this winter, FREAK OUT!

6. This weekend is Paint the Living Room Weekend!!! (Finally!) We need a higher quality paint on the wall to keep up with Frick & Frack.

7. I had to give up my sleep in day to Mike as compensation for repainting the living room.

8. Cam has a new pirate obsession....Paige still thinks Mickey walks on water.

9. Cam can repeat each letter of the alphabet back, except W...he says" wuubutgh." He also "counted" today. Mike said 1, 2, 3, 4 and Cam said 5 & 6...genius I tell you!

10. I am a freak. I have already schedule C&P's Christmas photo shoot just before Thanksgiving, with the possibility of getting 2 year pics thrown in their the same day...pending their behavior.

11. Paige needs a haircut, and I really hate to admit that. Cam always needs a haircut...I'm totally fine with that!

12. No more Halloween candy, no more!

13. There are only 1072 hours until I have two 2 year olds!!

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Last Sunday was a big day (No, not the end of the Bear's season like your thinking)...Family Picture Day! We headed out to have family Christmas photos and 2 year birthday photos taken. I think Mike almost lost it when he saw that we were going to be doing an outfit change. He was still complaining for having to get his photo taken a whole year before...boo hoo! The good news is that the photo session turned out great, and Mike didn't kill me!! C&P were not shy, nor did they scream like when they chatted with Santa! I think they actually had fun...C&P that is, not Mike. Although, when Paige was standing behind Cam with her hands on his shoulder, Cam may have turned around to slug her. Hands to Self!

Here's a teaser...

Trick-or-Treat

Halloween was a success! C&P had another 1st that put a tear in my eye, their 1st time trick-or-treating. I may have shed a tear at the thought of their 1st candy blitz...SHHHHHH! Luckily the weather was pretty perfect, a little crisp, but their cozy fleece costumes kept them warm. Miss P rocked her strawberry costume wearing glittery pink Converse, and Cam didn't forget that a shark says "nom, nom, nom!" At the 1st house Paige wasn't too sure why we were there, and then she got animal crackers...interest sparked. At the 2nd house she examined what was happening...I knock, someone comes to the door, they put something in my bucket, & I find another door. Cam on the other hand was very go-with-the-flow. In the end Paige was all about business, and didn't even look down when she left her shoe a whole house behind! Cam enjoyed himself, so much that he even went down a random neighbor's slide...party animal!

And, we're off...
Hitting a house, hoping for M&Ms!
"Nom, nom, nom, nom..."

Timeout!
On the hunt...
All business, and the 1st time walking around on the sidewalk, honest.

Hallows-Eve

Pumpkin fest 2011 was a success! We painted and carved pumpkins...and no one cried! C&P enjoyed painting their small (over priced) pumpkins before the big carve. Once Mike & I started carving the pumpkins they occupied themselves with the "guts!"
In no particular order (well, their was an order, but it's late & they uploaded funny!)...
