Yum, Fall!

Fall is hands-down my favorite season. The changing leaves, cool crisp weather, comfy sweaters (Ok, I really meant hoodies) & APPLE ORCHARDS! Mike & I had plans to put the kids in swim lessons or "toddler spaz class" this fall, but we didn't. Why?...because we would have our Saturdays eaten up with indoor activities instead of enjoying the weather! True story. So, classes are on hold until the winter session, and we are chowing down on Macintosh apples!! We went to the All Seasons Apple Orchard in Woodstock last weekend.

Our goal was strictly to pick apples! $20 & two 1/2 peck bags later we were off! We took a wagon ride to the orchard, and realized when we got there that C&P like to explore! Paige went one way and Cam went another way! Once we wrangled Frick & Frack (the names I use when they are being a little on the naughty side) we headed to Mike's favorite apples, Macintosh. C&P HAD A BLAST! They loved being able to pick an apple off the tree and eat it, or pick apples up off the ground and throw them! Of course they tried to eat the rotten apples from the ground, and of course Cam found the GROSSEST apple in Illinois...but what can you do?! Paige ate almost 4 apples that day, and Cam ate 2. Needles to say dinner was sketchy that night! Here's some of my favorite photos from that day...
